Incredible Find: Lux Tellum Case File 1W-FL65-22

 I did some digging... I think I've come across something I shouldn't have, which is brilliant. That being said I'm going to share whatever I find and continue to do so if I can manage to get more.

Candle ID C-763-88. Reading Case file 1W-FL65-22 and documented monster file.

 

(Slight sound of papers shifting)

CANDLE (Cont.)

Starting with the monster file. Monster code SU-DV-92RT. The Led Yavol, otherwise known as the Russian Ice Devil.

(Dry chuckle) It’s rare to see them in America, let alone Florida… Monster type: Devourer. Habitat: Cold moist places.

Weaknesses: Dry heat, and fire. Abilities: Asexual reproduction, and corrosive ice spit. Picture attached. 

Onto the Case File.

Wildfire Code Reporting in on this file is W-718-01. Result: S. Date: Oct. 1 2022. Location: Hallow-Brook FL, 39431, in the

Town Sewers. Lovely. 

Recount Begins.

(Proceeds to read 1W-FL65-22 Case File)

Oct. 1 2022. 

We proceeded into a mandatory meeting with the mayor of the town. Town folks have been going missing; last seen heading towards

the forest. Before the recent child was the mayor’s son: Micheal Brosatt. (Deceased) 

Gathering to sign, Each group was made to sign forms before proceeding to look for the adults and children. After some time to gather

their stuff. The search parties were given their own zones to search. 

While many groups searched the forest, Group B searched the library for research, finding the badge that belonged to one, Micheal Brosatt.

While also looking for a friend(Amelia Malizia), a local civilian. Finding clues, We came across a very old computer and found three ways into

the sewers. One was towards the east and the other towards the west The third entrance was located in a local bar: The Black Cat bar which is owned by

Maddie (Miss Mad) Age: 49 who hands the group a key to the basement. 

Note: The bar was once the house of the founding father of the town. (Aruss Ian Guy, otherwise known as Anton Poly-Ruchey)

Cont. 

Once we obtained the key, the group and I headed down to the basement and found the entrance to the sewage. Exploring through the murky water, Cold.

It was abnormally cold. We noticed the walls were cracking and there were slight tremors coming from the surrounding areas, indicating that we were

in an unstable environment and did not have long until the tunnels would collapse in on themselves and on us. 

It was only then did we hear the sound of flesh being torn open. Civilian 1 led the group forward, seeing The Led Yavol (ice Devil) eating someone (could not

make them out.) Stench of death was strong and bodies upon bodies were piled up in the corner.

Description: Sharp claws and teeth. Two large rounded eyes. Fur covering most of its skin and burns marks on the back that seems to have not healed in quite a while.

Weakness acquired. 

Sounds about right…

Civilian 1 pulls out a Molotov cocktail. (pause) at least they came prepared. We came up with a plan to throw the cocktail at it and run. It seemed to be the best option at

the time. 

Civilian 5 showed herself then and civilian 1 tried to explain to her the plan that we believed to be the best scenario with no more casualties.

Removing herself from the situation, Civilian 2 took the bottle and stepped on the ledge, lining themselves within range of the monster and tossed the molotov. An explosion

of fire caused it to roar out but did not seem to kill it. 

Shooting from its mouth was thick green goo at Civilian 2. It seemed to be cohesive acidic ice that stuck to Civilian 2 clothing and would begin to burn. It was removed before

any life-threatening injury could be done. 

Cont. 

Civilian? 7 (potential target. No evidence acquired.)tore out one of its eyeballs, killing it before it could attack Civilian 5 (Guardian/Mother of Civilian 7.)

We managed to get away and cover ourselves before The Led Yavol could explode. Its body spreads the cohesive acidic goo everywhere. 

Mission: S 

 The tunnels collapsed after we all got out. 

Extra notes:

Civilian 5 seems to know more about the creatures. The creature was meant to be in hibernation. Eggs were not hatched and destroyed when tunnels collapsed. 

It is determined that the creature was brought by the founding father of the town. Civilian 5 promptly briefed us on a curse that they had on them and has requested assistance

in breaking it. The civilian group has agreed to follow up and break the curse.

Well… at least it all seems to be sorted out. Should that thing manage to replicate itself it might have learned to evolve in Florida's climate. The last thing we need is another

invasive species in that state.
